LIFE AT UST
5 years with UST
WHY I JOINED

I came in for an interview with a company that I knew very little about. Within 10 minutes I was engaged in deep conversation with my interviewer about people in the industry and how I might fit in at UST. 10 minutes later, he flagged down someone walking past his office door to join the conversation.

After an hour, I asked the person who had joined us what his role in the company was. We were so invested in the conversation that we completely forgot to introduce ourselves. I was very pleasantly surprised that the CEO of the company had such a solid grasp of the business. That conversation is why came to UST.

WHY I STAY

Everyone is committed to the vision. About 6 months into my time at UST I was invited to attend some sessions at the Trivandrum corporate location. At one point I was invited to join a board member breakfast sitting next to Mr. Indu Chandaria. I was completely fascinated by how this 80-year-old, Kenyan-born person, living in Switzerland could have such a solid grasp on what was needed in the US healthcare market. We talked for a very long time then and to this day have regular 1:1's to discuss how we are crafting our HealthProof strategy. What keeps me coming back is the vision that we have created around leveraging UST HealthProof to improve how health insurance is administered in the US.

MY PROUDEST MOMENT

I think that my best moments are yet to come.

MY BIGGEST LESSON

Failure happens. To succeed, you need to learn from it and ensure the next time you are successful.

MY SECRET WEAPON

I stick with one thing until I master it completely.
